Audio Book Challenge 2010
The Audio Book Challenge is being hosted this year over at The Royal Reviews. This will be my first year joining this challenge. I didn’t join in last year (at J. Kaye’s ) because I hadn’t listened to audio books before, and wasn’t sure how many I would be able to listen to in a year. In 2009 I listened to five audio books, which means it takes me about two months to listen to a whole audio book. I know that sounds like a ridiculously long amount of time, but it really does take me that long. I don’t just listen to one all the way through and then wait two months to listen to another one. I usually listen to one or two discs a week on my drive to and from band practice, and other than that I really don’t have the extra time to listen (especially not with the kids listening in). And since our band takes a three month vacation in the summer time, that’s three months without listening to audio books
